A Must Not Miss Event – Supporter Engagement

shardMore than 78 people packed into the event at London’s Shard to hear Harvest’s Steven Dodds, Boy on a Beach’s John Urpeth and our own Janet Snedden and Sarah Hooper explore the latest research into charitable giving. They showed that the very best way for charities to raise money (and reputations) was by engaging with supporters: farming, not hunting.

After the presentations, a roomful of animated conversations began, an energetic buzz of debate all set against the backdrop of London’s skyline. We lost count of the number of people who told us they’d found the evening “a must not miss event.”
