It’s amazing what an explosion of denim and a cake sale can do. On Friday 18 September, the entire Amaze One team (and one of the team’s dogs) went double denim for the day in aid of Jeans for Genes. Between them, the Bristol, Chilcompton and Manchester offices raised over £300 to help fund initiatives that improve the quality of life of children affected by genetic disorders.
“We’ve been raiding our wardrobes and channelling Bake Off to raise money for a cause that’s close to our hearts,” explains Sarah Hooper, Planning and Communications Director.
“1 in 25 children across the UK live with some form of genetic disorder. When you know that, you really don’t need any further encouragement to get involved.
“What’s great about Jeans for Genes Day is that you can show your support in a really simple way. Pull on your jeans. Buy a cake. Help a child. It’s that easy – and I’m delighted everyone at Amaze One feels the same way.”
